When is Detroit Artisans open?

Thursday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Is (insert item) from the picture on (some page) available in the store?

Stock at Detroit Artisans can sell quickly. The best place to find the most recent additions to available items is our Facebook page.

Does Detroit Artisans deliver?

We do not deliver any of the items we sell. Please plan to bring your own vehicle. If you do not have transportation, please call the store for a list of recommended services.

Will employees help us load our items?

Yes! We will help any customers load furniture or larger items into their vehicle.

I cannot pick up my item today. Can I leave it at the store? 

Within reason, yes. Detroit Artisans can hold items for about a week.


Does Detroit Artisans accept items on consignment? 

Yes! Each area of Detroit Artisans is curated with its own items and those of our consignors.

How does consignment work?

Detroit Artisans recommends calling the store to discuss the items you would like to consign before bringing any items in. The phone number and store hours can be found at the bottom of this page. Consignors will need to come into the store to review the full contract and have all items approved before bringing items in.

What types of items does Detroit Artisans consign?

Antiques, collectibles, industrial items, refurbished items, retro, vintage and many others. A general rule of thumb is that most items newer than 1990 are not featured in the store. Detroit Artisans does not sell liquor, firearms, food, or chemicals.

Does Detroit Artisans buy items?

In some cases yes. If you are not interested or do not have the time to invest in the part-time consignment business, Detroit Artisans may offer to purchase items on a one off basis.

Is art allowed?

Yes! We welcome local artists to contact us with their work.
